若心电图质量较差或标注不当,可获取的信息就会减少。当存在明显伪差时,细微变化可能被遗漏。注意到伪差的时机是在描记过程中,因为此时可立即重新记录一段。
心电图描记是在体表记录心脏电活动。它记录的是心脏产生的平均电位,以电压和时间为坐标绘成图形。特定的波形代表心肌除极与复极的各个阶段。

随着导联轴与激活波方向之间的夹角增大,该导联上的 ECG 偏转变小。净方向垂直于正极的电冲动根本不会产生波形或偏转,称为等电位(isoelectric)。
标准心电图导联用于建立多个角度,以评估穿过三维心脏传播的波形。单一导联只能提供电流方向一个维度的信息。出于本概述的目的,我们将重点关注 II 导联——一个双极导联,其中右臂(RA,即兽医患宠的右前肢)为负极,左腿(LL,即左后肢)为正极(图 1)。我们主要讨论节律诊断。

记录心电图
ECG 应记录在尽可能安静、无干扰的区域。临床活动和其他动物的噪声可能显著影响患宠的心率和节律。对于四足动物,由肢体导联测得的心电向量大小和方向会因肩胛带与胸廓肌肉附着位置的改变而大幅变化。
每一对肢体应保持平行,且肢体之间不得相互接触。ECG 过程中应尽量使动物保持静止,并尽可能避免犬只喘气。在某些情况下,轻轻合上动物口腔或将手放在胸部(如有颤抖)可能有所帮助。可使用鳄鱼夹或粘性电极,但鳄鱼夹的齿应磨钝、弹簧应放松,以尽量减少不适。
